| Description |
The long leaves have parallel veins, the leaf
surface being ridge between them. The star-like flowers are yellowish
white or green sometimes red depending on the variety. They develop
on a tall flower spike, leaving seed pods after flowering. |

the roots and leaves. |

Vomiting, diarrhoea, cramps, burning in the
throat and mouth. In severe cases can affect the heart and even cause
death. |
