Tall spires of flowers
mainly pink although this does vary in some cases as it is found in many gardens which can
display a wide range of colours. The leaves are coarse textured and hairy. The spires can
grow to around 1.5 m (5ft) tall. |

any of the plant is eaten. |
| Effects |
Vomiting, diarrhoea,
abdominal pains, and headaches. Large amounts of toxin are rarely absorbed into the system
as vomiting is the main reaction. |
