| Description |
Evergreen house plant which has narrow leaves,
usually green edged creamy white stripes. The white star shaped flowers
are produced on thin stems about 60 cms. (2ft) long. Small rosettes of
leaves appear on the flower stems. |
| Hazards |
This plant is not particularly toxic but it is
a very common house plant and if eaten in large amounts can cause
digestive disturbances. Cats are attracted to this plant because of its
grass like leaves. |

If consumed in large amounts vomiting and
lethargy are the general symptoms. |
