| Description |
This tree can grow to about 20 Metres (65ft)
tall. It is a spreading evergreen, often living for several hundred years.
The leaves are leathery in texture and shaped similar to a reaping hook,
shiny and dark above, pale and unpolished below. The fruits are pinkish
red berries. |

or the fruits. It is the seed within the fruit which is poisonous. |
