Throughout the past 5 years there has
been resurgence in the demand for outdoor programmes as more and more
practitioners form a variety of diverse backgrounds are recognizing the
important influence the outdoors environment has on the social, emotional
and intellectual development of children and young people.
Archimedes is at the forefront supporting the development of Forest Schools
in the UK and is the leading Forest Schools programme and training provider
in the North of England working with, amongst others Sheffield, Derbyshire,
Nottingham, Doncaster, Surrey, Leicestershire and Birmingham councils to
provide quality Forest School training and consultation services to support
them in the development of Forest Schools.
